DIATHERM 31D heating system protection and treatment fluid.

DIATHERM 31D is a heating system protection product designed for use exclusively by professionals.

The product is a pH-correcting, anti-corrosion dispersant, anti-sludge and slow-release conditioning formulation for closed systems containing steel, brass, multilayer and PER.

Thanks to its chemical compounds, DIATHERM 31D provides pH corrective action to achieve pH equilibrium, as well as oxygen-reducing or sludge-dispersing actions for metal oxides, clay or minerals.

– Fields of application:

• Anti-corrosion.
• Anti-scaling.
• Sludge dispersant.
• Lubricant.
• PH adjustment around an ideal value of 7.5 – 9.

– Technical specifications:

• Appearance: liquid.
• PH > 10.
• Density: 1.15 +/- 0.1.
• Color: colorless to pale yellow.

Contains sodium hydroxide.

Not compatible with aluminum-containing heating systems.

– Application:

• Handling: wear protective gloves and goggles.
• The product must be introduced using either a displacement pot installed in the bypass of closed circuits, or a manual or automatic dosing pump.
• In addition to bypass filtration, it is advisable to carry out flushing operations to eliminate particles likely to sediment in installations equipped with extraction means at low points and slow zones.
• Storage: away from frost and acids.

– Dosage :

• New installation: 1 L per 100L of water.
• System maintenance: 1 L per 100L of water.
• De-silting an old system: if the circuit is very clogged, the dosage can be increased by 2 to 5 L per 100L of water.

Check the PH value, which should be between 7.5 and max. 9.

Check the presence of the protection product in the system using the test strips: the result should be between 250 and 1000 ppm.

If the result is less than 250 ppm, add 1L of DIA1 per 100 liters of water.

The shelf life is approximately 18 months in a treated circuit.

We recommend measuring the dosage in the heating system at least once a year, using DIABAN test strips.

The concentration of the treatment product must be maintained if water is added to the circuit.
